As some of you might be able to tell (except for my feed readers), I have just updated the design of my site. I’ve still got a few minor adjustments to make, but it’s nearly completed. Let me know what you think!

Description

Create a separate page as a link directory using the content from your current WordPress blogroll. All the links for a specific category will appear on that page.

3. Upload to the WordPress plugins folder (wp-content/plugins)
4. Activate via the administration interface

Usage

1. Open a new WordPress PAGE and call it “My Links Category”
2. Make the content of that page [blogroll:999], where 999 is the BLOGROLL category ID for “My Category”. (Make sure it’s the blogroll category from Manage>Links>Link Categories!)
3. Publish
4. Repeat for each blogroll category.

Description

If people respond to your posts and put a long link within their comment, it is very likely that their comment will stretch beyond the confines of you comment section.

Comment URL Compacter is a simple plugin that will shrink the anchor text of a long link, but still point the user to the correct site.

You can test it in the comments below this post if you’d like. Put a long URL (ex: a Google search query) into your comment and my plugin will do the rest!
