A New Way to Find and Share WordPress Plugins

From March 15th, 2007 | 0 Comments

It’s always been difficult for me to find the right WordPress plugin that I’m looking for. It seems like there are about 4 or 5 main plugin directories and I’ve always ended up searching fruitlessly at each. I just wrote the post about my favorite plugins and how hard it was to finally find all of those that suited my needs. But now it should be easier!

Matt Mullenweg, the creator of WordPress just announced a new resource for plugins. Now, all plugins can be easily found in this new directory.

It’s also easier for developers. They offer free hosting and subversion management for you to develop and maintain your plugin. I think it will help entice others to create more plugins, furthering the potential of this great program.
